It was my opportunity to visit the "Pos Layanan Perpustakaan" in Singkawang. The government of West Kalimantan leaved a thousand books in many places, such as in Tamca Kemala Cinta Bhayangkari and Security Border of Indonesian Army, also NGO.
In Singkawang, there are three points of Pos Layanan Perpustakaan (the library service post). Two post belong to Gemawan NGO for women groups and the other is Bhayangkari (The Unity of Police officers' wives).
They are so happy getting the books free and let the public read it. They serve public to read on location only and not allow the books to be borrowed for taking home.
"We keep them from broken or lost. So we let the public to read on location only," as the lead of Bhayangkari Sector of West Singkawang, mrs. Yusi Sunarno said, on Monday (21/3).
